Ranga Rao Kadambari Music Award- In memory of Late Pt.Ranga Rao Kadambari,the college established this award in 2049 B.S. (1992) A.D. Every Year the best student in vocals receives this award, which was started from a fund of NRs 40,000.with the help of Mrs. Padma Kadambari and his students.
Kalanidi INdira Sangeet Mahavidhyalaya Awards-Mrs.Indira shrestha has donated NRs. 1,15,000. to establish this award in 2050 B.S (1993A.D.) Every year this award is given to the students with the best exam results in all subjects. (vocal Instruments and dance)
Bal Krishna Award will be granted every year to music institute or welfare organization with cash amount of five thousands with excellent award certificate for their contribution to the upliftment in the field of music or society. this trust of Rs.50,000. has been established in 1997 (2054 B .S.) by Mrs. Indira Shrestha daughter of Lata Bal Krishna Shrestha who was a great social activist of Nepal.
Mathura Devi Memoral Award will be given every year to the best student of instrument music of 6th year (pravaker) of best student of KISM. the trust has been established in 2051 B.s. (19940 by Ms Sakuntal Pradhan senior vocalist in memory of her mother late Mathure Devi shrestha, Senior Women activist.
Kiratesor Kalanidi Samman Award will be given every year to one of the Nepal`s great music personalities and artist in due respect of Kirateshwor Sangeet Ashram who honored and felicities by KISM by “Kirateshwor Sangeetashram Award 2054 B.S. (1997)
Kalanidhi Award will be given every two or three great young renowned personalities-as Music Director, Music Writer and Vocal Artist. The Awards is established by Indira Shrestha to honor renowned and popular young personalities and Artist of Nepal.
KISM honors & felicitates every year those celebrities, of Nepal`s traditional and classical great music personalities, Artist, Music educationist, and founder in due respect for their contribution to the upliftment in the musical field.
